Reliable Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing daily maintenance activities with in-house and external contractors to ensure timely and effective execution.

You will also be responsible for servicing equipment and components to ensure readiness at all times, minimizing downtime due to spare part unavailability. This includes analyzing and improving equipment reliability of utilities and facilities, preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementing corrective actions with Sr Engineers and production teams.

Additional responsibilities include preparing/reviewing spare parts lists and managing equipment inventory using CMMS, ensuring critical spare availability and optimizing stock levels. You will also develop and implement routine maintenance and inspection schedules, including preventive, routine, and periodical inspections on rotating and static equipment.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will manage annual shutdown maintenance, coordinating site work with contractors and production teams to ensure safe completion. You will also update long-term maintenance plans for facilities and utility equipment.

In this role, you will ensure all maintenance activities comply with EHSQ policies, implementing MSRA, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will act responsibly for personal and team safety, supporting ALARP principles and escalating major hazards when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in mechanical engineering or the equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in plant and facilities maintenance in a chemical plant
  • Experience in petrochemical or related industries
  • Basic understanding of maintenance technology in manufacturing process plant environments
