Our Group Finance team provides insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions, whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with Consumer Banking Group Singapore Consumer Banking Business to provide insightful analysis on Treasures and Retail segment financials
  • Preparing monthly actual and flash financial dashboards on a timely basis
  • Coordinating with business partners to assist in budgeting efforts
  • Participating and supporting Treasures and Retail projects, assisting in validation and testing of financial and MIS data
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and financial control policies and procedures
  • Handling ad-hoc tasks related to CBG financial reporting

Digital Value Capture

You will be responsible for:

  • Aligning strategic initiatives with relevant levers under the digital value model
  • Establishing and tracking leading indicators surrounding customer behaviors, including product penetration, holdings, and other planned outcomes
  • Analyzing such indicators, partnering with Business Analytics, CBG, and Group Finance teams to identify opportunities
  • Modeling and preparing materials for internal strategic discussions and external communications
  • Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Finance in a bank, preferably consumer bank
  • Possess strong analytics, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel and Access will be an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion, SQL, and PSGL
  • Self-starter, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Highly driven to achieve excellence
  • Degree in Accountancy or a Finance-related discipline
  • Excellent Team worker
  • Flexible and able to multi-task
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Inquisitiveness to learn new concepts and look for ways to improve current processes
