Seeking a driven and ambitious researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Fellow. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research, develop your expertise, and collaborate with leading academics.

About the Role

The Postdoctoral Fellow will play a key role in advancing our research efforts, focusing on mining equipment development and safety technologies. You will work closely with Associate Professor Guangyao Si and contribute to the development of research activities, support the dissemination of research outcomes, and participate in conferences and workshops.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 1 year (35-hour week) with opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in Mining/Safety/Mechanical Engineering or related areas
  • Proven commitment to staying up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments
  • Demonstrated capability in mining equipment/product design, development, and testing, with experience in mechanical systems, industrial product development, or safety-related technologies
  • Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience in communicating with diverse stakeholders
