The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for estimating and costing switchboards and related products.
This includes preparing quotations, compiling technical data, brochures, catalogues, and layout drawings for client submissions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Estimate and cost switchboards and related products.
- Prepare quotations and compile technical data.
- Manage sales inquiries.
- Support Sales Engineers with order follow-ups.
- Develop and improve methods for costing, estimation, and quotations.
- Review and compare estimated costs with actual expenses for awarded jobs.
- Ensure the accuracy and acceptability of costing levels.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to source components or parts for optimization and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist with internal coordination tasks.
- Adhere to Quality Management System procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
