Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will play a critical role in developing and managing complex commercial insurance policies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of complex risks and make informed recommendations for policy acceptance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Ensure that all documentation is error-free and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and analyze data trends to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- At least 12 years' experience in large/complex commercial risks segment; specific experience in Asia region is essential.
- Degree in engineering or related discipline will be ideal.
- Insurance qualification/Membership of Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) or equivalent.
- Knowledge/understanding of risks underwritten in corporate/commercial segment.
- Ability to understand/interpret insurance conditions, clauses, and warranties.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret data, statistics, and information for evidence-based decision-making.
