Procurement Risk Specialist

Position Overview:
As a Procurement Risk Specialist, you will undertake thorough evaluations of Tencent's internal procurement operations, concentrating on marketing, services, and human resources categories throughout the region. Your role will involve assessing procedures, pinpointing potential risks, and offering strategic recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring that procurement activities are in line with risk management objectives. You will also be responsible for crafting local procurement policies, creating cost analysis frameworks, and overseeing compliance audits of suppliers. This position demands robust project management capabilities, a comprehensive understanding of procurement principles, and effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of procurement processes and suggest optimization strategies. Generate and present supplier management reports. Create cost analysis frameworks and assess pricing benchmarks. Execute compliance audits of supplier admissions and conduct onsite inspections regularly. Develop internal control standards and policies related to procurement. Offer expert advice to business stakeholders regarding procurement issues. Participate in significant procurement risk management initiatives and provide on-demand support. Review procurement protocols, identify risks, and propose strategic solutions. Lead ongoing enhancements of procurement processes and initiatives aimed at cost savings. Collaborate with the Audit Team to identify areas for procurement improvement and monitor progress. Foster company-wide awareness of procurement risks and cost management through internal training sessions and workshops.Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally with procurement-related certifications (CIA, CPA, CERM, etc.). At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing procurement, preferably within the internet sector or professional procurement consulting. Profound knowledge of procurement principles and best practices in cost management. Understanding of corporate risk management frameworks, ideally with a COSO background. Strong project management skills and the ability to independently manage multiple projects. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in both English and Chinese Mandarin for effective liaison and interviews with leaders and stakeholders.Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:
