About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Agilent Technologies Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive continuous product and quality performance improvement, factory yield, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of new product introduction (NPI) and mass production strategies for assigned products.
  • Collaborate with R&D to design, develop, and release new tools or process technologies, and provide engineering support throughout the product development process.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, and cycle time, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement and material engineering to specify, source, and qualify materials used in product design and production.
  • Support and implement the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production, and through the entire life cycle of the product.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles within the plant, and design jig/fixtures for new products to ensure manufacturability.
  • Perform a variety of engineering duties to support manufacturing operations, and improve products, processes, and applications to meet agreed-upon objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or operation environment, with a strong background in product development and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of probability and statistics, board-level product qualification procedures, manufacturing processes, and familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office and Python.
  • Strong engineering and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Travel and Schedule

10% of the time, with a full-time schedule and day shift.
