The Spa Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the wellness facility, including the gym and spa areas. This position involves maintaining the lounge, locker rooms, and other guest spaces in an orderly, hygienic manner, while ensuring that all amenities are adequately stocked. Responsibilities also include the opening and closing of the facilities, warmly welcoming guests, and providing personalized service.

The Role
A. Deliver Exceptional Service

  1. Support reception personnel in greeting and welcoming guests, offering refreshments, and communicating essential information to spa therapists.
  2. Conduct tours of the spa and lounge areas for new or potential clients, highlighting the services and amenities available.
  3. Assist therapists as needed by preparing treatment rooms, ensuring all supplies and equipment are organized and ready for use.

B. Ensure Operational Excellence

  1. Restock all lounge supplies and locker amenities, as well as linens and operational necessities for the spa and fitness studio.
  2. Manage laundry tasks, including receiving and neatly storing all linens while keeping them well-folded.
  3. Prepare and maintain the bathing areas for various rituals.
  4. Arrange flowers for display in trays and various locations throughout the facility, including reception, restrooms, and lounges.

C. Uphold Hygiene and Safety Standards

  1. Prepare and distribute fresh linens and towels in treatment rooms, grooming areas, and wet facilities.
  2. Ensure the proper and timely disposal of waste materials and disposables in common areas of the spa.
  3. Regularly check and replace candles in burners, ensuring they are kept clean.

Talent Profile

  1. Possess a solid understanding of the spa industry.
  2. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  3. Able to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Exhibit an enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
  5. Available to work during weekends and public holidays.
  6. Previous experience in a luxury spa setting or a similar customer service role is preferred.
