Job Summary:

A dedicated caregiver is needed to provide full-time care and supervision for one child in a household environment.

  • Engage the child in educational and developmental activities, such as reading, learning games, and outdoor play.
  • Manage daily household operations, including supervising other staff members and maintaining a clean and organized home environment.
  • Prepare nutritious meals for two individuals, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Assist with organization and planning of family events and activities, such as birthdays, holidays, and outings.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, be able to cook well-balanced meals, and have availability to work on weekends or after standard office hours when needed. A background in childcare, nutrition, or hospitality would be beneficial but not essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adaptable, and have a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily routines for the child's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain accurate records of the child's daily activities, meals, and sleep patterns.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding the child's needs and progress.
  • Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in a caregiving role.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with childcare.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
