Olfactory Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Olfactory Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing fragrance development strategies, driving olfactive vision, and managing complex briefs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fragrance development strategies that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Drive olfactive vision and strategy for assigned brands, leveraging expertise in fabric care categories.
  • Manage multiple complex briefs, prioritizing and coordinating tasks with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with perfumers to develop fragrances that meet customer guidelines.
  • Work closely with the lab to ensure product stability and troubleshoot issues.
  • Liaise with regional creative centers to complete project assignments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in fragrance evaluation across various categories and geographical areas.
  • Functional expertise in core fragrance development responsibilities paired with an innovative mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer insights and proven track record in evaluation, particularly in fabric and home care categories.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Able to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
