Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure System Engineer

The role involves assisting the infrastructure architect in developing, designing, deploying, and maintaining application and infrastructure to support mission-critical systems running on cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the infrastructure architect in designing and implementing hybrid cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, load balancer, firewall, and network virtual appliance components.
  • Integrate cloud-based systems with on-premises systems and ensure seamless data transfer between the two environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain event-driven messaging infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and governance on application integration and security compliance.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities on a regular basis.
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for various common infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, IAM, SiteMinder, MSSQL server, SFTP server, Proxy server, RDS, etc.
  • Perform regular maintenance on server patching, software update, backup and restore, DR exercise, audit review, and account management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Microsoft Windows Server and/or RedHat Linux Server infrastructure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the field of cloud computing.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
  • Technical skills in Powershell, Python, and bash scripting and automation.
  • Experience with IAM solution and modern authentication mechanism: OAuth2/OIDC and SAML.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Practical experience in managing system integrators/contractors/partners.
