Logistics Operations Specialist

The role of Logistics Operations Specialist is critical in ensuring the timely and seamless transport of goods that change lives. As an integral part of our Customer Excellence team, you will be responsible for organizing and supervising the transport of all orders, providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints while ensuring the profitability of orders.

To excel in this role, you will need to work closely with internal stakeholders and focus on key objectives such as:

  1. Making suitable arrangements for shipment handling independently via air, sea, barge, charters etc., ensuring key performance indicators are met.
  2. Ensuring accurate data quality by keeping all systems up to date promptly.
  3. Producing relevant documentation (including import/export declarations, customs clearance, MES declarations) accurately and on time.
  4. Preparing spot quotations, data for tender documents, and actively participating in commercial support.
  5. Completing tasks and administration relating to local services such as trucking, warehousing services, cargo surveys, etc.
  6. Reporting incidents and hazards as per working instructions and taking corrective action to prevent re-occurrences.
