Our team is seeking a highly skilled Technologist to join our Research, Development & Applications (RDA) department in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the RDA team in carrying out various activities related to development and application. The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and optimizing formulations for dairy applications, such as dairy beverages, yogurt, cream, and butter.
  • Applying functional ingredients in dairy matrices to meet sensory, nutritional, and shelf-life targets.
  • Conducting pilot trials, bench-top experiments, and sample making.
  • Translating customer or market needs into technical solutions and prototypes.
  • Collaborating with commercial, marketing, and regulatory teams on projects.
  • Providing technical support to customers, including capability presentations, troubleshooting, and on-site application support.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Kerry Technologies, trends, scientific developments, and regulatory changes in the dairy industry.
  • Documenting and maintaining detailed records of formulations, trial results, and project reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food or Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field within Applied Sciences.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in dairy product development and application, including but not limited to dairy beverages, yogurt, cream, and similar products.
  • Practical experience operating laboratory and pilot-scale dairy processing equipment.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about ingredients and recipe formulation.
