Scrap Disposal and Value Recovery Specialist

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end process of scrap material disposal across various sites. It requires coordination with operations and warehouse teams to ensure environmentally responsible practices.

  • Identify certified scrap buyers and recyclers for optimal pricing and timing.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize financial returns from scrap sales.

Maintain accurate records of scrap transactions, ensure compliance with regulations and company policies, and prepare reports on scrap sales trends and value recovery metrics.

This role also involves working closely with operations, finance, and logistics teams, supporting internal audits, and ensuring knowledge of scrap material markets and recycling regulations.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in procurement, waste management, or scrap disposal.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
