Job Title: Resident Technical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, with experience in review and evaluation of Authority's and Contractor's drawings for compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate all project-related documents and drawings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide necessary endorsements to facilitate project progress.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensure contractors obtain necessary permits and clearance to work on site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor implementation of corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review and supervise formwork structure, support systems, and other related aspects to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee installation of instrumentation to monitor project progress.
  • Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works, and other related aspects to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cut and cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data, and use of software for presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.
  • Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Possess valid RTO certifications by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore.
