Experience Designer: Transforming Careers in User Experience

We are seeking a seasoned experience designer to lead our part-time (24 week) User Experience Bootcamp. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to shape the skills, minds, and journeys of the newest generation of user experience designers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience working in user experience design on a product team, with fluency in key areas such as the UX process, user research, usability testing, and interface design. They will also have a strong grasp of Figma, including creation of component libraries, design systems, and high-fidelity prototypes.

This role requires the ability to adapt our global curriculum and teach students how to approach and solve UX challenges in order to land a design job and contribute to the creation of successful apps, websites, and digital products.

About the Role:

  • Lead instructor for our part-time User Experience Bootcamp
  • 17 hours per week teaching students (14 hours) and hosting office hours (3 hours)
  • Commit a few hours per week preparing lessons and materials
  • Work closely with co-instructors and/or teaching assistants to provide students with meaningful feedback
  • Guide students through development of a stellar capstone project
  • Facilitate a dynamic, collaborative, and positive classroom community

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in user experience design on a product team
  • Fluency in key areas such as UX process, user research, usability testing, and interface design
  • Strong grasp of Figma, including creation of component libraries, design systems, and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Ability to adapt our global curriculum and teach students how to approach and solve UX challenges
