As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our Senior Manager in establishing sustainable relationships with key customers and building a structured sales foundation for Building Automation in the APAC region.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the Senior Manager in interfacing with customers to establish relationships and build a sales foundation for Building Automation.
- Discover new business opportunities and develop account strategies and action plans.
- Work with affiliate sales teams to deliver pre-sales product and technical support, engaging with customers, preparing project-specific proposals, and supporting 3rd party events.
- Assist in creating sales toolkits and uncovering customer value drivers.
- Communicate the company's value proposition and identify and influence customer decision-makers and buying decision criteria.
- Gather customer requirements data and collaborate with solution specialists to create customer proposals.
- Document sales activities and create summary reports for management.
- Promote collaboration and experience sharing between affiliates in the region.
- Identify industry trends, collect and assess competitive and market intelligence.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably with background in BMS and Automation products.
- Good industry knowledge, especially in HVAC control and monitoring systems, with an existing network of contacts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
