Assistant Manager Job

The role of Assistant Manager, Segment Profit Centre is a key position within our organisation. This role will assist the Head of Department in achieving the department's goals for profitable growth and development of healthcare strategic initiatives.

This includes sales, marketing, and product development. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with market research and competitive analysis, developing and conducting presentations and product training to clients, intermediaries, and business units. Additionally, they will review policy wordings and brochures to ensure compliance with company guidelines.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Achieving departmental growth and profit targets
  • Providing quotations and renewal terms for individual and corporate clients
  • Ensuring risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with company guidelines

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, as well as business development experience in insurance, particularly in medical/healthcare. They will also have excellent presentation and negotiation skills, and be familiar with the Singapore insurance market.

A tertiary qualification, preferably with professional insurance qualifications, is essential. A certificate in health insurance would also be beneficial.

Other important information includes: Business development experience in insurance; Marketing/Presentation and Negotiation skills; Strong Interpersonal/Relationship building skills; Underwriting skills; Singapore insurance market knowledge; and Pricing skills.
