Overview

The National University Hospital in Singapore is seeking a skilled Child Psychologist to join its team. This role requires the provision of psychological services, including psychometric assessments and therapies, to inpatients and outpatients at the Khoo Teck Puat - National University Children's Medical Institute.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To conduct comprehensive psychometric assessments and interpret results for referred patients.
  • To develop and implement effective psychotherapy treatment plans for children and teenagers with medical and mental health concerns.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans for patients.
  • For Senior Clinicians, to lead the implementation of new psychological services with guidance from the Head of Division.
  • To contribute to the development of educational materials and provide training for department staff as needed.
  • To assist senior team members in supervising interns and providing specialized teaching.
  • To participate in research projects as part of the research team.
Requirements:
  • A Master of Psychology degree with specialization in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with a recognized psychological professional body.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant work experience prior to/during Masters training.
  • Applicants with clinical training in conducting assessments and/or providing therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
