Singapore THE PIQUE LAB PTE. LTD. Full time
Roles & Responsibilities

As our Experience Architect, your role is about igniting a spark of curiosity: Always insightful. Always transformative. And one where you will work alongside us as our Expert Guide in Education Psychology to create lasting impact and drive meaningful change.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Educational Psychologist who is eager to design interventions and strategies that help students overcome learning barriers, build confidence in parents, and unlock the full potential of our team members—creating an experience that leaves a lasting impact on everyone involved.

[About The Pique Lab]

At The Pique Lab, we believe that where curiosity blooms, knowledge flourishes.

Our tagline "Curious Inside. Limitless Outside." embodies our mission to nurture every child's curiosity & journey with him/her on that path of discovery and wonder.

Our Math & Science lessons are meticulously crafted based on pedagogical research, data-driven methodologies & have one overarching goal: to make learning fun, shorten learning curves & help students develop a genuine appreciation for Math & Science. Watch how we do this: https://youtu.be/2SBVz4MgeIE

Over the past decade, we've grown from a pair of co-founders to a diverse team of over 100 team members across 10 departments. Our proprietary learning methodology & examination-centric materials have helped more than 20,000 students ace their examinations.

Our headquarters is in Singapore, with remote teams in China, India, Malaysia & the Philippines. We take pride in our open, fast-paced & flat organisational structure where every team member is valued for their skills & competencies, not just their job titles.

[Your Role]

Reporting to the Strategy Team, you'll be a key team player supporting our students, parents, and team members with your expertise in educational and organisational psychology.

Primary Portfolio: Educational Psychology (70% Of Your Time)

You'll play a key role in fostering a supportive learning environment where students are empowered to reach their full potential, while also offering guidance to parents to help them actively support their child's growth and success.

  1. Establish best practices in pedagogical design & educator training for student success: You'll design and implement training interventions like emotional regulation and behaviour management to enhance our students' social communication and in-class engagement.

Additionally, you will collaborate with our educators to integrate psychological strategies into their teaching practices, offering them ongoing consultations and regular training on classroom management and student engagement techniques tailored to diverse student needs.
  2. Spearhead more parent collaboration opportunities: At The Pique Lab, we believe in helping not just our students discover their potential, but also empowering our parents with the tools and knowledge they need to support their children's growth and success every step of the way.

You will be involved in offering actionable insights to our parent community through consultations and workshops to help them better foster resilience and positive behaviour, supporting their children's psychological and emotional well-being.
  3. Provide psychological insights to elevate our customer experience: We believe that the heart of a strong customer-brand relationship lies in delivering exceptional experiences always—whether in the classrooms or at every touchpoint with us.

With your experience working with parents and students, you will be a consultant to our Customer Care Team, offering guidance to help de-escalate challenging situations involving students or parents. You will also be working with the team to develop training programmes to incorporate the best practices of managing parent and student relationships so that we can better refine our service experiences.

Secondary Portfolio: Organisation Psychology (30% Of Your Time)

To us, our team members are our most valuable asset. You'll play a supporting role in creating a nurturing working environment where our team members feel fulfilled and driven in their roles.

4. Act as a supporting partner for wellness-related initiatives for our team members: As our Wellness Advocate, you will be involved in providing psychological insights and recommendations enhancing employee well-being and fostering a positive workplace culture for the Senior Leadership Team.

To excel in this, you believe in staying up-to-date with career trends and ongoing wellness practices, ensuring that your recommendations are both feasible and effective for policy development.
