Capital Equipment Assembly Specialist

The ideal candidate will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, laser optics alignment, calibration, and final testing on capital equipment according to technical specifications. They will work with vendors to prepare capital equipment for shipment and complete builds within the given production timeframe.

The assembly specialist will monitor materials delivery to ensure production schedules are met and own the entire process of capital equipment build, adhering to quality and safety standards. They will conduct preventive maintenance on equipment promptly and monitor calibration schedules for tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Higher NITEC or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
  • Techincally competent and likes hands-on work
  • Takes pride in building and outputting high-quality capital equipment
  • Able to work independently after training
  • Able to communicate and work comfortably with all levels
  • Quality and safety mindset and meticulous in their work
  • Able to use basic testing/troubleshooting tools
