Job Title

System Technician - Mechanical Assembly and Calibration Specialist

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Mechanical and Electrical Assembly, Laser Optics Alignment, Calibration and Final Testing on Capital Equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering and be technically competent with hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Mechanical and Electrical Assembly of Capital Equipment.
  • Align and calibrate Laser Optics.
  • Conduct final testing and quality control.
  • Work with vendors to prepare Capital Equipment for shipment.
  • Monitor and expedite materials delivery to meet production schedules.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Technical competence and hands-on experience.
  • The ability to work independently after qualification.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to use basic testing and troubleshooting tools.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and night/rotating shifts if required.
