Job Role

The Machine Maintenance Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.

  • A key responsibility is to perform regular checks to ensure all apparatus and equipment are functioning properly.
  • The incumbent will attend to tasks, complaints, breakdowns, and scheduled maintenance activities on a daily basis.
  • Analysis and troubleshooting skills are essential in identifying performance issues and implementing countermeasures to rectify problems.
  • The specialist will report faults to the Supervisor when their own initiative cannot resolve the issue.
  • After repair, they must ensure the operation is safe according to standard procedures.
  • The specialist will assist in planning systematic maintenance schedules for machines.
  • Maintaining and submitting daily machine problem analysis reports to the Supervisor is an important task.
  • The position requires the ability to attend meetings, reviews, discussions, and coordinate with Production Supervisors.
Requirements
  • A diploma or ITE qualification in Engineering (entry level welcome to apply).
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
