Job Description:

The Community Engagement Coordinator will support services towards the aftercare phase of our program, working closely with the Aftercare Manager to facilitate the reintegration of former residents into society through outreach and pro-social engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Conduct pre-emplacement interviews with residents to understand their needs, set goals, and develop case plans to address concerns. Prepare and maintain Individualised Service Plans (ISPs), progress and closure reports from incare to aftercare phases.
  • Community Relations and Outreach for AIMS: Deliver community relations activities and initiatives for our alumni group, including WISDOM. Plan and execute community engagement activities, events, and communications for AIMS, liaising with community leaders and volunteers.
  • Resource Development and Volunteer Coordination: Identify and engage potential partners to support AIMS operations and maintain communication lines. Coordinate resources and activities from the community that support AIMS initiatives, including AIMSpace.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
