Community Engagement Coordinator

Job Description:

The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of activities to engage residents and community stakeholders in the Queenstown area. This includes working with local community leaders and stakeholders to organize programs and services, as well as developing a feedback mechanism to gather feedback on activities conducted.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with partners and older adults in the community. They will also have strong organizational, time management, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a community engagement strategy
  • Working with local community leaders and stakeholders to organize programs and services
  • Developing a feedback mechanism to gather feedback on activities conducted
  • Encouraging and facilitating resident participation in suitable activities and programs
  • Facilitating the development of the physical space and overseeing general operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or related field
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, administrative, and interpersonal skills
