Chemical Process Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting final sample preparation in our sampling room, as well as conducting laboratory analysis and reporting. In addition, the role involves assisting chemists in technical development projects and maintaining the inventory of all laboratory facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct final sample preparation in the sampling room.
- Conduct laboratory analysis and reporting.
- Assist chemists in technical development projects.
- Maintain the inventory of all laboratory facilities and equipment.
- Check, record and report on the inventory of all laboratory supplies.
- Carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per schedule or instructed.
- Evaluate good housekeeping in the laboratory.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, applicants must have at least an ITE or Diploma in Chemistry/ Chemical Process Technology/Material Science or equivalent. Working experience in precious metal/ base metal is an added advantage.
What We Offer:
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary, plus entitled to OT. Additionally, we offer Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if you possess your own transport. Our working days are Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm); Sat (8am - 12pm).
