Job Overview

This role will deliver high-quality client service to institutional clients in the Southeast Asia region. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients, communicating effectively, and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with clients regularly to handle all servicing aspects, including responding to queries, implementing custodian changes, and guideline updates.
  • Understand client requirements and needs, working with sales teams to meet demands, including education, training, and other value-added activities.
  • Lead annual/quarterly client portfolio reviews and act as the presenter in meetings when needed.
  • Provide daily support for fulfilling client account inquiries, including audits, correspondence, statements, trade processing, web support, and more.
  • Design and implement enhancements to existing client service workflows.
  • Play an integral role in new client onboardings.
  • Provide high-quality administration support within the Client Services Team.
Internal Relationships Building:
  • Act as the clients' advocate in interactions with other internal business units.
  • Liaise with portfolio managers to prepare for portfolio reviews and any changes in investment guidelines or breaches.
  • Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including New Business Services, on client onboardings.
  • Maintain excellent business knowledge, customer needs, internal policies & procedures, systems capabilities, and constraints.
  • Assist in creating best practices and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Work with appropriate internal business partners, such as Risk, Legal, Compliance, to ensure business standards are adhered to.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of client service or related experience in a client contact capacity in the Financial Services Industry, specifically with institutional clientele, products, servicing needs, and information standards.
  • Experience working in a global business environment with diverse cultures and time zones is essential.
  • Strong client service and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize workflow while coordinating with others is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, with additional language skills being a plus.
What We Offer

At Franklin Templeton, we provide a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary of approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
