This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work in the field of correctional rehabilitation, where you will play a key role in implementing counselling and casework interventions for offenders.
As a Correctional Rehabilitation Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include conducting offender assessments, formulating intervention plans, and delivering direct rehabilitative interventions. You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate sustained positive change in offenders.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and working experience in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to demonstrate initiative while complementing the work of colleagues and have a desire for continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct offender assessment and formulate intervention plans.
- Plan, coordinate and delivery of direct rehabilitative interventions for offenders.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to improve offenders' social capital.
- Train and audit vendors who have been engaged to run rehabilitation services.
- Provide feedback on the needs of offenders and the effectiveness of correctional rehabilitation.
- Knowledge and working experience in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work with people from various disciplines and backgrounds.
- Demonstrate initiative while complementing the work of colleagues.
