Job Overview

The role of a Deputy Project Manager involves overseeing project execution and ensuring that contractual obligations are met.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with project objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely purchase and delivery of services and equipment.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Monitor and track project progress according to contractual requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Manage project variations to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Report project status to senior management.
  • Perform project evaluations and assess results for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • A degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role, with at least 10 years in project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.
