We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team.
Job DescriptionThe role of the Enrolled Nurse is to provide high-quality patient care in a palliative setting.
Palliative care involves working with patients who have terminal illnesses or end-stage organ failure, and the primary goal is to alleviate their suffering.
The successful candidate will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver compassionate care to patients.
This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, providing guidance to junior staff members, and participating in quality improvement activities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing palliative care assessments for patients with terminal illnesses and end-stage organ failure.
- Provide guidance and supervision to new Nursing Aides.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Nitec/Certificate in Nursing.
- Valid Practicing License with Singapore Nursing Board.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical settings and palliative care environments.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights.
