Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Risk Management Expert to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, auditing, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To support the development of audits aligned to the bank's standards and objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and complying with policies and procedures.
  • Audit development and delivery support, including financial statements, accounting practices, operational processes, IT systems and risk management.
  • Identification of operational risks to support the delivery of the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Audit Plan through risk assessments.
  • Assessment of internal control effectiveness and their capability to identify and mitigate risk aligned to regulatory requirements.
  • Communication of key findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including the Audit Owner, senior managers and directors.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • A professional qualification relevant to Audit/Technology & Information Risk Management (e.g. CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP).
  • Work experience in cyber security, resiliency, cloud computing, infrastructure platforms or artificial intelligence.
  • Background in financial firm and programming skills such as Python with a knowledge of related evolving regulatory environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin language is a plus.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
