Investment Operations Role

The Investment Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by overseeing debt and equity investments. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless loan transactions and equity investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the credit structuring team to ensure operational aspects of loans are met.
  • Work with external stakeholders to ensure timely disbursement and receipt of funds, rate resets, transaction booking, repayment processing, tax credit tracking, and covenant testing.
  • Monitor and file loan documentation, including loan agreements, conditions precedent, subsequent information rights, financial documents, budgets, and warrants information.
  • Capture and record all loan terms properly.
  • Serve as the point of contact between borrowers, facility agents, and external stakeholders, monitoring loan transaction status.
  • Collaborate with external vendors on loan management system implementation.
  • Address loan operational issues and implement continuous process improvements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Monitor and file equity investment documentation, including conditions precedent, information rights, and budgets.
  • Capture and record all equity and warrant investments properly.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree with at least 5-8 years of relevant working experience.
  • An understanding of loan/fixed income operations and equity investments.
  • Prior audit experience (private equity/venture capital/private debt) is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience with loan management systems or system implementation is an added advantage.
  • Independent, driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail, hands-on, meticulous, and capable of multi-tasking effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
