Strategic Inventory Management Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic supply chain management plans that drive business growth and profitability. This includes managing material shortages, collaborating with purchasing and SLM teams, ensuring timely and accurate demand management processes, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory levels and reduce costs.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Manage material shortages to ensure clear visibility into production schedules.
- Collaborate with purchasing and SLM teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Ensure timely and accurate demand management processes to meet customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory levels and reduce costs through process improvements and vendor negotiations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on inventory management and cost reduction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional overnight stays required.
