Child Development Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about child development and willing to make a positive impact.

About the Role

The Child Development Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting clinicians in identifying developmental delays in preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and be able to administer developmental screening tests, conduct screening tests such as LUCID Screen, review parent and teacher questionnaires, and support the screening of K1 and K2 children referred to the Learning and behavior track.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering developmental screening tests at triage clinics to enable early diagnosis and referrals for intervention services
  • Conducting other screening tests such as LUCID Screen
  • Reviewing parent and teacher questionnaires
  • SUpporting the screening of K1 and K2 children referred to the Learning and behavior track
  • Maintaining the Clinic dashboard
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Arts, Social Services, Child Life, Disability and Community Rehabilitation, or a relevant field of study
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
