Food Preparation Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Meal Prep Associate to support our culinary team in preparing meal ingredients.
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping fresh produce, meat, and poultry.
- Stir and heat soups and sauces for our menu items.
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, appliances, and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
- Organize and store food supplies efficiently in kitchen storage areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparation of meal ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, and meats.
- Maintenance of kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Supporting chefs in food preparation tasks.
- Ensuring efficient use of kitchen resources.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen procedures, cooking methods, and ingredient preparation is essential.
- Able to perform varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
- Passion for food preparation and willingness to learn new skills.
