Job Title: Senior Marine Operations Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Marine Operations Executive to oversee the daily operations of vessels under their management. This entails ensuring timely and sufficient support to vessels on all operational and technical matters at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, with experience as a senior marine engineer or dual/navigation officer. Prior experience as a Technical Superintendent managing container vessels is beneficial but not essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial budgets for maintenance, repairs, stores, modifications, and dry-dockings for vessels under your management. You will also ensure compliance with international and local regulations, maintain vessel certification and surveys, and follow up on vessel performance.

You will work closely with multicultural teams ashore and on board to achieve these objectives. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and an interest in tackling challenges with innovative solutions are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Marine engineering education and experience as a senior marine engineer or dual/navigation officer
  • Prior experience as a Technical Superintendent managing container vessels (beneficial but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently with multicultural teams
  • Diligent and organized work approach, understanding of cost-effectiveness, enhanced problem-solving skills, and interest in tackling challenges with innovative solutions
