Key Responsibilities

  • ">

  • Develop and maintain MOCVD epigrowth and related processes to align with company technology and product roadmap.

    ">">

  • Operate MOCVD planetary reactor system, perform InGaAsP/InAlGaAs/InP and AlGaAs/GaAs epitaxial growth and regrowth runs as per specified layer structure for production and NPD/NPI development projects.

    ">">

  • Spearhead the development, management, and execution of all MOCVD epigrowth engineering and development activities for optoelectronics and photonics integrated circuits.

    ">">

  • Improve MOCVD epigrowth process quality indices, systems such as Line Yield Statistical Process Control, manage process change control.

    ">">

  • Set up a quality program for epigrowth runs, including creation, maintenance of control documentation, work instructions, and process documentations.

    ">">

  • Track all MOCVD-related material usage and drive cost reductions.

    ">">

  • Plan and ensure the execution of scheduled maintenance together with the maintenance team.

    ">">

  • Ensure uptime of MOCVD epitaxial growth characterization equipment.

    ">">

  • Lead in assessment and execution of reliability process qualification of new MOCVD-related materials, substrates, growth sources, and scrubber solutions.

    ">">

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and participate in special projects as required.

    ">">

  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers.

    ">">

  • Regular reporting on process engineering improvement updates.

    ">">

  • Overall in-charge of Environment Health Safety system of MOCVD system-related material characterization tools.

    ">">

  • All other reasonable duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • ">

  • Master Degree

    ">">

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in MOCVD epigrowth process for III-V materials based on planetary reactor systems, with extensive experience in manufacturing process development operations management in the field of photonics, semiconductors, telecommunications.

  • Possesses strong communication skills and ability to coordinate cross-functionally with R&D Quality Operations.

  • Understanding of process validations, Experience using Lean Manufacturing tools.
