About the Job

The role of a Senior Process Engineer involves overseeing the development and maintenance of MOCVD epitaxy processes, ensuring alignment with company technology and product roadmaps. This includes integrating with in-house manufacturing capabilities and outsource operations.

Key responsibilities include operating MOCVD planetary reactor systems, performing InGaAsP/InAlGaAs/InP and AlGaAs/GaAs epitaxial growth and regrowth runs, and post-growth characterization. Additionally, the successful candidate will spearhead process engineering activities for optoelectronics and photonics integrated circuits, driving quality improvements and cost reductions.

  • Develop and implement new MOCVD epigrowth processes aligned to company goals and product requirements
  • Spearhead development and execution of MOCVD epigrowth engineering and development activities for NPD/NPI design goals and requirements
  • Implement process control measures to improve quality indices and system efficiency
  • Create and maintain control documentation for work instructions and process documentations
  • Drive material usage tracking and cost reduction initiatives
  • Plan and execute scheduled maintenance with the maintenance team
  • Ensure uptime of MOCVD epitaxial growth and characterization equipment
  • Lead assessment and execution of reliability and process qualification for new MOCVD related materials
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in MOCVD epigrowth process for III-V materials and based on planetary reactor systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality and Operations
  • Understanding of process validations and Lean Manufacturing tools
  • Knowledge of production and automation equipment, processes, designs and functions
