Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development of cloud-based solutions, leveraging cutting-edge data engineering techniques and best-in-class infrastructure as code methodologies. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud architectures, driving cloud migration strategies, and overseeing data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines.

Our ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as data engineering tools such as Databricks, Spark, SQL, and ETL tools. Additionally, they should have experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are also essential.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with engineers, business stakeholders, and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive end-to-end project delivery. Your ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic oversight will be crucial in helping us achieve our mission of delivering great customer experiences through data-driven insights.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Drive cloud migration strategies and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and operational best practices.
  • Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines (Databricks, Spark, SQL, ETL).
  • Architect and optimize data lakehouses, warehouses, and data marts.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, lineage, and governance.
  • Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams.
  • Enforce engineering standards (CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code).
  • Review technical designs, code quality, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost objectives are met.
  • Identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Support pre-sales and client engagements with solution demonstrations and technical proposals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, and leading technical teams.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Data Engineering: Databricks, Spark, SQL, ETL tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic oversight.
