Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect Leader to join our team at AWS. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.

You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as well as experience with architecting complex, scalable, and secure cloud solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose migration strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 7+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
  • 7+ years of customer-facing project management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
  • 3+ years of cloud-based solutions experience (AWS or equivalent), including systems, networks, and operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with:

  • Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
  • AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of Data Technology stacks and integration with Machine Learning and Generative AI.
