Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Executive to join our team at Hotel Royal Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling room reservation operations in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reservation Management: Assist the Reservation Manager in planning, coordinating, and controlling room reservation operations, ensuring seamless execution and maximum occupancy.
  • Tour Group and Convention Bookings: Handle tour group and convention bookings, as well as correspondence pertaining to contracts with commercial companies, travel agents, and airlines.
  • Front Desk Support: Ensure that the Front Desk staff and Reservation Agents are kept up-to-date with information concerning the hotel and department.
  • Transaction Processing: Ensure that all daily transactions are keyed into the computer system and updated in a timely manner.
  • Correspondence and Communication: Handle all incoming mail for reservations, highlighting important requirements and information, and attend to all replies for letters and faxes with regards to room reservations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's reservation department.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess at least a Professional Certificate/Higher NITEC in Hospitality Operations or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of success in reservation management.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English to manage hotel guests, hotel systems, and various reports.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel systems, with a strong ability to work independently as well as a team player.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
