Expert Surgical Robotic Mechanism Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our organization. As a key member of the design team, you will provide mechanical engineering expertise in the research and development of innovative surgical robotic systems.

This role involves designing mechanisms, structures, and integrating actuators, motion components, and sensors to achieve groundbreaking product functionalities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in the structure design & development of surgical robotic systems or surgical instruments.

  • Bachelor or Master's in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of one full cycle of product development experience is necessary.

Key skills for this position include proficiency in mechanism design, fabrication of precision or micro instruments, knowledge of various materials (metal and plastic), coating and manufacturing processes for precision parts.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a strong technical capability in 3D CAD modeling and simulation software like SolidWorks, as well as good knowledge and experience in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, performing FEA and motion analysis and technical review of mechanism design.

Good communication skills are preferred as you will be liaising closely with other support departments.
