Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a member of the Mechanical Design team, you will provide mechanical and mechanism engineering expertise in the R&D of surgical robotic systems.

This role involves designing mechanisms, structures and integrating actuators, motion components, and sensors to achieve innovative product functionalities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in the structure design & development of surgical robotic systems or surgical instruments.

  • Bachelor or Master's in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of one full cycle of product development experience is necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical capability in mechanism design and fabrication of precision or micro instruments.

They should also have good knowledge of various materials (metal and plastic), coating and manufacturing processes for precision parts.

A proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and simulation software like SolidWorks is highly desirable.

Additionally, the candidate should have good knowledge and experience in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, performing FEA and motion analysis and technical review of mechanism design.

Good communication skills in Mandarin are preferred as you will be liaising closely with other support departments.

Final position offered will commensurate with your years of relevant experience.
