About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our team in Cell Biology and Technology Unit. As a Research Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of new antibody drugs based on Chugai's proprietary technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Tool generation - expression vector construction and molecular cloning, protein expression, stable cell lines developmentDrug screening - ELISA, FACS, cell-based functional assay, confocal microscopy, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, qPCR etc.Cell culture - Suspension cell culture and adherent cell culture, 3D cell culture models, such as spheroid, organoid, organ slice and organ-on-a-chipLab managementRequirements:
- Degree in Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/Molecular Biotechnology or a related field with at least 1-2 years of related working experience.
- Familiar with basic laboratory procedures especially mammalian cell culture.
- Experience in Molecular Biology, Protein Chemistry, 3D Cell culture, Cell engineering, Flow Cytometry, Confocal Microscopy, NGS analysis and other relevant skills will be an added advantage.
- In vivo sample handling experience is plus but not necessary.
- Working experience in either industry or academia is welcome.
