Job Overview

Leverage your technical expertise as a Lift Technician to deliver high-quality inspections, testing, and reporting services.

Collaborate closely with a specialist inspection team in a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct statutory annual inspections and preventive maintenance checks on elevator and escalator systems
  • Perform safety tests including load, emergency brake, and door operation, aligned with MOM regulations
  • Prepare, certify, and submit inspection reports and certificates to regulatory authorities
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and service documentation
  • Identify and report non-compliances or safety risks for corrective action
  • Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and internal procedures
  • Coordinate with engineers and coordinators to schedule inspections and track corrective work
Requirements:
  • Education: NITEC or Higher NITEC in Vertical Transportation, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in lift/escalator inspection, servicing, or statutory compliance work
  • Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces such as lift shafts
  • Key Skills & Expertise: Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation skills, proficient in statutory inspection procedures and safety testing, able to work independently and collaboratively
