Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Specialist to join our team. As a Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform service work, including troubleshooting, condition audits, and maintenance work for customers' fired boiler or waste heat recovery systems in shipyards, offshore, and power plants all over the world.">
  • Maintain and test boilers and burners, as well as other steam system components, soot blowers, dampers, etc.">
  • Provide technical support for service project teams and spare part sales.">

Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.">
  • 10 years total experience out of which 5 years in a similar industry-related position.">
  • Advanced skills in combustion, steam, heat transfer, and fuel handling, instrumentation & controls, safety shutdown systems including PLC logic and HMI, mechanical, process, and electrical engineering, rotating equipment such as fans & pumps.">
  • Positive and investigative attitude, ability to adapt, interact, and commit to action in providing customer satisfaction.">
  • Good communication skills in English, written and spoken.">
  • Ability to travel extensively for prolonged durations with office-based time in-between assignments (100-150 days per year).">
  • Willingness to work in an offshore environment.">
