Associate Actuary Role

The Associate Actuary plays a crucial role in driving business growth by leveraging actuarial expertise to inform pricing strategies, portfolio management, and product development.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results that meet business objectives. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing efforts for international auto and personal property lines of business.
  • Collaboration with the international pricing team to achieve business goals and deliver on strategic initiatives.
  • Development and maintenance of global best practices for pricing and portfolio management.
  • Standardization of rating tools and global templates.
  • Peer review process implementation and maintenance.
  • Data analysis and interpretation to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Qualified or near-qualified actuary.
  • Strong experience in data manipulation, predictive modeling, and report development.
  • Experience with Excel VBA, R, Python, Power BI, and data visualization software.
  • Fluency in English, with fluency in one other language a plus.
