Actuarial Project Manager

Our client is a leading life insurer seeking experienced actuarial professionals with IFRS17 expertise to join their team as project managers.

As an actuarial project manager, you will lead and coordinate actuarial teams to ensure the smooth delivery of the IFRS17 project. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining project plans to monitor progress and escalate risks effectively.
  • Managing valuation data workflows, including Prophet ALS models, and upholding best practices.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop IFRS17 requirements that integrate data, actuarial models, and accounting solutions for financial reporting and business planning.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 8 years of work experience in an actuarial function, preferably in financial reporting, valuation, or IFRS17-related areas. They should also be qualified or nearly qualified actuaries with good progress in actuarial exams. Additionally, they must demonstrate strong project management skills, excellent stakeholder management, adaptability, and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
