Claims Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Claims Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for managing and processing claims in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, lawyers, 3rd party claimants, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Train and guide assistants in their support role, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide excellent service.
  • Manage and process claims expeditiously, professionally, and equitably within agreed service benchmarks or applicable protocols.
  • Ensure reserves are provided or updated in a timely and realistic manner.
  • Advise underwriters on issues discovered during claims handling, such as gap in policy wording and risk improvement opportunities.
  • Visit clients' offices, attend meetings, and conduct site inspections as required.
  • Periodically review files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Pursue and follow up on recovery claims periodically.
