Software Engineer in the Public Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that improve the lives of Singaporeans.

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems that meet the needs of our clients. This includes building prototypes to demonstrate technological opportunities, designing system architectures, writing production quality code, managing deployments to cloud infrastructure, and maintaining systems to a high level of reliability.

Our team focuses on pushing new initiatives, and we need someone who can identify potential projects that improve the public good, design novel systems that work around bureaucratic constraints, and advocate and explain these technical ideas to other government agencies.

In addition to the above responsibilities, more experienced software engineers will be expected to establish best practices for developer operations, provide technical leadership across multiple product teams, share their expertise and mentor other engineers, and help with recruiting.
